The moving team was amazing. They were on time, efficient, careful with the big furniture pieces and also placed items in the new place with thought to spacing. It was a stressful day to move in-between a work event and having to get ready for an away trip and these guys made everything possible.

Moving has always been stressful for me every moving company I used always was below my standards. Then I used Texas Movers Group they were great the customer service was top notch. The prices were very reasonable and all of my belongings arrived in perfect condition. They kept me in the loop of where my belongings were and they arrived on time. They moved in my stuff quickly and didn’t damage my wooden floors the movers were awesome. I highly recommend using these guys you won’t be disappointed all around a great experience.

Moving across country stressful, thankfully I came across Texas movers group. I have a lot of sentimental items, and they took the time to create several items for me, they wrapped all of my other furniture. My reservation specialist took the time to listen to me explain these items to them, went over every aspect of the move, how was going to go from start to finish. I lived in a hard to access neighborhood, and I had additional pick up from the storage unit. They made it incredibly easy, as they offered a shuttle service and three additional pick up. Upon move day the movers came in with all of the proper material, made each crate on the spot. I have never been more satisfied with any service that I have ever purchased. The only gray area that I have is the movers were an hour so late upon pick up, but that’s to be expected, as when they got here they really did great work. I would say that the movers were playing with my move because they seemed to have in complete control over the move and I am sure that they were enjoying their job. The way they treated the entire move was no less than a wonder. Movers were moving the super heavy furniture, vulnerable stuffs, glass shelves, sensitive show pieces as if they are superman! It was simply a great move by these movers. They did not even let me feel the heat of the move. Everything was done according to the plan and perfectly.

I cannot say enough positive things about Texas movers group. I used them to move the entire contents of my home. I had the pleasure of having Nelson head up the crew who moved me. They arrived a little early, which was very helpful. They worked in a diligent, careful and pleasant manner, and quickly moved my belongings in way less time that I had anticipated. Most of my items were packed, but they immediately assisted with packing the remaining items. I had some concerns because I had a very large mirror and many pieces of art encased in glass. All my belongings made it to my new home in perfect condition. The move was effortless, quick and very reasonable in cost. Nelson is the consummate professional, who did an excellent job overseeing the move and ensuring it all went well. I was so pleased with the work that Nelson and his crew had done, that I suggested to my office-mate that we hire Texas movers group to move all of our office furniture and equipment back to our office after it was finally repaired after a fire. Nelson was unavailable, but they sent a crew headed by Jessie. Jessie immediately took charge, and organized a seamless and efficient plan to get our items moved from three different locations to our office. It was good to see that Texas movers group was willing to hire a mover who was deaf. Even so, he did a fabulous job, along with the other mover, both being directed by Jessie. This crew, along with Nelson’s crew, went out of their way to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. The other notable advantage to using Texas movers group was that another moving company had quoted $2900 for the move, while Texas movers group ended up charging about $900. There is no doubt–this is the moving company to use.

We had a great experience with Texas Movers Group. We moved from a 3rd floor, 2 bedroom condo to a single family home within the city. These guys were prompt, efficient, and busted their tails without a hint of complaint.

I was working to pack some final boxes, and before I turned around, my living room furniture was professionally disassembled and wrapped up in prep for the move. They moved fast!

I moved to New York from Texas and the crew arrived on time and they were very nice. None of my furniture got scratched or anything broken they truly know how to pack and take care of everything. I wasn’t looking forward to a huge bill at the end of my move. I asked?Texas Movers Group?several times to notify me of any changes in the bill if required. Four movers arrived on time and finished packing everything from my 3-bedroom apartment in just an hour and half. They used a lot of packing tapes and bubble wraps which made me wonder if it would cost me extra. They delivered on time as well. When I saw the final bill I realized that most of the packing materials were free. I only had to pay for the boxes which didn’t cost much. I’m glad they kept their words and didn’t overcharge me.

He and his team arrived on time, wrapped furniture and any fragile items, and had my daughter moved within a short amount of time. John kept his word on how long it would take, working efficiently to achieve the result we needed. My daughter is in college and I needed a cost effective but professional mover. I honestly couldn’t believe that Texas movers group showed up with two broken thumbs and still helped his team in the move. Awesome job guys!! Texas Movers Group, is not a reliable or trustworthy company. My husband and I hired this company to move us from Texas to California. The estimated price increased($2800 to $4600) even after we reduced our amount of items to be moved!!!! The move date and time was rescheduled three times, we ended up completing the move on two separate days! The staff was always unavailable or difficult to reach by phone, had to send emails to communicate. Texas Movers Group advertise their nice company moving trucks and trailers, which is what I expected to show up for the move, but instead a antique (year model 1960) huge extra long truck that required repairs twice on the way out of state (so they claim for the delay of delivery) showed up with only ONE moving guy and a driver that did not help the ONE mover! The moving guy shared with us that his help to unload the truck was not showing up due to car trouble. The ONE moving guy was asking for my husbands assistance with some of the heavy items! Wow smh! Inventory during pick up of our items was not taken properly, and some items was not inventoried at all. When we received our items at delivery, some items was damaged, broken, and missing. Brand new packing boxes looked as though they had been tossed around and crammed in improperly, dinning chair leg was broken, missing nightstand and missing exercise equipment. The ONE moving guy shared with us that the delivery before us the customer was missing TWENTY BOXES! Wow smh! When they arrived to deliver our items the driver could not get the moving truck parked close enough to unload items and wanted MORE MONEY for a shuttle or for extra steps due to the distance! We declined and decided we would unload our items. The ONE moving guy then decided that he could get it done at no extra charge. We hired this company because of the excellent ratings/reviews and that is what I told Alex on our initial contact, but Texas Movers Group end up being a BIG disappointment. Bridgette talks a “good game” but unprofessional, fake, and not to be trusted, she is nice until they get your items loaded in truck smh. Michelle was OK but somewhat a “bullie”. Hire this company at your own risk, I understand that “to err is human” but I DO NOT and WILL NOT recommend Texas Movers Group to anyone! We are in healthcare and construction fields of work and have shared this horror story to all that would listen from Texas to California, for they will not have to endure the troubles and financial hit that we went through. Starting from the moment I called them till they made the delivery, everything was just spot on. I was impressed with their punctuality. We have never had movers arriving on time in the past. The movers were very creative while packing our valuables. Even the furniture was wrapped in shrinking tape. They delivered on time and my valuables travelled very safely. We were moving last month and?Texas Movers Group?were the moving company we hired. Their performance was much better than average. My main concern during this move was my old pieces of furniture. But the very capable and experienced mover took great care of them. They carried everything very systematically. Their packing skills were great. I haven’t really seen movers who are so professional before. I chatted up with the foreman and he told me that this company only hires the best movers. That must be true given how efficient my crew was. They didn’t damage anything on the way and made the delivery on time. I’m very impressed with them clearly.

Texas movers group is the only place you need to call if you have to move long distance. They will make sure your belongings are safe, secure and delivered on time. We have a big family and everyone has a bunch of stuff. They pack everything together instead of trying to charge you for extra space you don’t need. Everything is organized so we know exactly where everything is as soon as we get to our new home. Also, we have too many breakables to take in our own vehicle, when we arrived at our new home 8 hours later, not a single one of my dinner plates were broken. Texas movers group recently moved myself and my son home from Texas to Florida, we were really trying to keep the cost low but didn’t want to get messed around by a “fly by night company”. We went to one of those estimate websites and filled out the form, I must have gotten 10 responses overnight! After going through everything and checking everyone out I narrowed down to 4 companies. I spoke to Sherin at Texas movers group and she put my worries at ease with her patience and understanding of our situation. The guy who came for the pickup was really nice and parked his big truck right up to the porch, put the ramp on and off they went, in and out in an hour. We didt have a place to move to right away, so Sherin arranged for our stuff to stay at the storage until we were ready. The delivery was also great, those guys found their way around the cottage road with only one call for directions (which is pretty amazing in our area filled with fire numbers). I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to make a move on a budget, we only had a few little cheap things broken which we kind of expected in such a long move. I wasn’t happy that I had to move to Detroit in these troubled times. I was especially sad having to leave Union City.?Texas Movers Group?made the move easy for me and my family. We were dreading having to pack up 12 hours of our lives in Union City but the men sent from the company did it in just over 3 hours. They were so efficient and always attentive. Never did they lose focus on the job and damaged anything. I was quite impressed by the professionalism displayed by these guys. We had been looking for good and reasonably priced vendors for quite some time and Texas Movers Group met our basic requirements and some of the more demanding ones. We found that they operated as promised in their marketing. They performed much better than another vendor we used that had larger team, but took a lot longer to ramp up on the project. I’d recommend these guys to anyone. In terms of service, Texas Movers Group has been a reliable service provider.

We moved locally in the Houston area and had a 4 bedroom house (moving to a 6 bedroom). It was a large move and the Texas movers group crew who did our move went way above expectations. I told them that we had hardwood floors at our old place and new, and they covered the floor very well on both ends of the move. We had a new house where we were moving to and they did not nick the walls anywhere even though there were some tight spaces. They even suggested furniture felt pads for the bottom of our furniture at the new place to protect the hardwood floors, which we picked up, and they installed when they setup the furniture at the new place. I cannot think of anything else that they could have done to make our move better. I feel very lucky to have had this crew doing our move.

The mover I worked with was very professional and he understood how to get the job done quickly. He arrived at my home earlier than the scheduled time so that was a nice little bonus. We are a family of six and we had to do a long distance move. Our house has 7 bedrooms and too much things for us to be able to move them alone. We desperately needed professional help and we got it. I am absolutely frightened of packing. I just cannot get myself to do it. I hired?Texas Movers Group?and I went for the “full pack”. They literally came in and packed all of my belongings. Then they carried everything to the vans, moved and unpacked everything in my new house. The crew of 6 men arrived right on time to my doorstep. They were so efficient at packing and putting everything into boxes neatly. I literally did nothing! They delivered everything on the same day to my new house. Then they unpacked everything, read the labels correctly to put the boxes in the right rooms and placed all the furniture exactly where they should have gone. Can you possibly have any complaints after such good job? In the end, I got my wish. I didn’t have to pack!

They showed up on time and worked very efficiently.?In 2 hours, they finished packing and loading everything from my 3-bed house. I give credit where credit is due and these movers deserve all the credits I can give them. The delivery was made on time and everything arrived in great condition except my piano. I am absolutely elated with the amazing services they provided. But little heartbroken for the scratches on my piano.

I’ve moved several times in the past 5 years and this was the best experience by far! There are some very shady movers out there but I have to say this was an incredibly positive experience. From the first phone call, to the email follow-up and, in particular, on the day of the move Texas movers group exceeded expectations. The crew called ahead, showed up on time, was pleasant and professional and executed my move from my storage unit, to my old house and then on to my new house all within the allotted time! And this included moving upstairs and putting furniture together. I would use them again and recommend them.

The group was very helpful in the beginning. Once it was apparent that they were going to miss the expedited delivery date (for which I paid $900), they claimed that the reasons for which the delivery would be late were not their fault; well, it wasn’t my fault either….the point is that I paid $900 up front for this expedited delivery date. They did not meet this date.They did agree to pay about 85% of the two extra days of hotel bills I had to pay but even that only happened because I had to chase them. If you are to use them, do NOT pay an expedite fee up front….pay it upon arrival ONLY.
An honorable company would have returned to me the full expedite fee without question; they did not and only had excuses.
I do not feel that they are an honorable company, so I cannot recommend them in the future unless they decide to return my expdite fee of $900.

As a first time mover, I was in sorts of panics. After a friend suggested me, I called up?Texas Movers Group?to help me move. They were very friendly on the phone and it seemed quite reassuring. Their crew arrived on time the next day. They seemed very strong and muscular. They packed all my belongings neatly and taped the boxes properly. My furniture was put in van very carefully. The made the delivery on time and I received all my belongings in perfect condition. I’m glad I hired them.

Usually I don’t write reviews but I was so satisfied with the job that they’ve done that I thought it might be very helpful if someone after my experience will chose this moving company to help out. First of all I want to start that they’ve arrived on time and were very professional and polite and also we didn’t have any issues with the containers that they were moving. Everything was great and fast! If I’ll ever have to move again I will definitely choose them as a moving company with no doubt!

Way too much to say about my experience but I’ll do my best to consolidate. Initially I felt reassured and Richard my sales rep made me feel good about the process. I had read bad reviews but he assured me they either weren’t even real customers or didn’t estimate their belongings appropriately.
To be sure my quote was as accurate as possible I had United Van Lines (rated #1) send a representative out to quote my belongings in storage. Of course Texas Movers Group has better pricing so after my inspection I chose to move forward with them. Texas Movers group quoted my storage unit for 539 cuft, and United Van Lines quoted me for 471 cuft so I felt confident about my quote price since it was over what the inspector estimated.
The day of pickup Texas Movers Group showed up with what looked liked an elongated horse trailer, not a moving truck. The driver came to look at my unit and in less than 30 seconds determined ‘himself’ that he wouldn’t do the move for less than almost double what I was quoted for. I explained to him my contract was based on cuft and didn’t understand why he was trying to negotiate a price upon arrival. We called the office and both myself and the driver sent pics in to show my belongings. The driver took pics of the storage unit door not pulled up all the way making it look like there was more volume than there should have been and my photos pulled the door up and turned on the unit light to show it was maybe 2/3 full. The Texas Movers Group office manager lady on the phone became irate and was unable to speak in a calm or controlled manner. After her raging and my storage unit manager also trying to pacify the situation to explain my quote was accurate, the moving manager told me she wouldn’t move me and that she’d refund my money then she hung up on me.
I called back to request that in writing and she then determined she wasn’t going to refund my deposit and that it was up to her sales department who wasn’t working that particular day. Longer story short, I fought the charges with my bank and submitted all my documentation and they agreed to refund my deposit before my claim was escalated.
So if they tell you I wasn’t a customer, they aren’t lying since they refused to move me but I can tell you they are scammers and like to pin their victims when they are most vulnerable forcing them to pay the price to have their belongings moved. I ended up renting a Uhaul and having help load/unload my truck. I hope this review is informative and helps someone’s decision if they are looking for a moving company. I would never recommend this group.

From initial phone call all the way to deliver the service was consistent. Eric and his crew wasted no time getting right down to work. Only setback was one of the guys dropped my dresser. Small damage otherwise all went well. Delivery was on time.

This is probably the worst moving company in the world! First of all, the quote you get online is SIGNIFICANTLY less than what is finally charged. They have add ons that you aren’t aware of until they are at your house such as a fee if stairs are involved and a fee if the furniture has glass. Plus, they insist that you give them a five star yelp review when they pick up your belongings so you will receive a discount (which is bullshit). So if you see any five star reviews it is because of that horrible business practice; not that they earned it. Also, the dispatchers and the drivers/movers do not communicate with each other at all!!! The truckers/movers showed up 24 hours earlier than what I was told from the dispatcher AND this was after confirming the moving date THREE times with the dispatcher. Everyone knows that timing is essential when moving so having them show up a WHOLE day earlier than planned caused unneeded stress. I called the company and expressed my frustration about the movers arriving early and management didn’t care! Then when it was time to deliver my stuff they kept on prolonging the delivery date. I told them on February 10 the storage unit in SC I would like my stuff to be sent to. They told me they would call me when a driver was heading that way. After two weeks, i still haven’t heard anything so I called them and they told me that week that should have a driver. THEY DIDN’T. In fact, I didn’t get my stuff delivered until March 6. Furthermore, they called me Sunday saying my stuff would be delivered within 3-4 days but the driver would call me 24 hours in advance. Well, the driver called 4 hours in advance. He was especially rude! He was adamant about delivering that day! When I complained to the dispatcher she at first apologized and stated she was going to make the driver deliver it the next day cause we didn’t get the 24 hour notice like they said we would. Then, she calls me back and gives me some sob story about the driver tried to call the day before but they didn’t have a signal and that they called the secondary number (which is bull shit; we have no missed calls on the secondary #). She then said that the drivers are really tired and if I don’t rearrange my schedule to meet them within four hours that it could be weeks until I get my belongings. Needless to say, I rearranged my whole schedule to accommodate the driver’s schedule! I cannot stress enough that you should not use this company! If I could give a zero star review then I would.

When I found out I had to move I was worried among many other things. I’ve heard horror stories of moving companies and how they treat their customers and their belongings. They were on time, courteous and professional, took care of my belongings as if it were theirs from packing to unpacking. And the price was very reasonable and quoted up front. What an experience! I’ve moved with all of the major large moving company’s all over the USA, but Texas Mover’s Group is beyond belief! The people are helpful with everything, polite and very accommodating. They even packed a closet I forgot to pack for me and told me to sit on the couch until the end and they moved it out. Texas movers group?did not charge me a lot for their service. They were very affordable. I did not have to sell my leg or hand to pay their bills. Actually I am really upset on all other movers that I used over the years. They all charged a lot but never delivered even a tolerable service. Finally I got what I wanted from these movers. They are real professionals. They know how to get the job done, how to meet the deadline and how to manage the move cheaply. In short, they have all necessary qualities of a great moving company.

Shaun at Texas Movers Group was great. I had planned to go with another company but he was so honest and helpful than I changed to his truck. The packing and loading took over two and half hours. We packed 65 boxes ahead of time. Shaun and his crew packed the HDTV, Stove, Refrigerator, tables, chairs, lamps, mirrors, dressers sideboard and the rest of the furniture. At the delivery in Austin, Tx the truck arrived at about?6:30pm.?It was close to?midnight?before all the items were unloaded. Everything was in great shape. We are very happy that we went with Texas Movers Group. There were no hidden charges. We paid the amount that was quoted to us in Texas Movers Group. These guys are for real!!

Premium service for (a bit) less than premium cost. Texas movers group is not a big brand name and that is why they don’t charge those absurd prices. However, they are not a budget option, either. Basically, you get what you pay for. In this case, we paid for a well-established company with a solid reputation and that’s exactly what they provided. You can forget about sudden tedious price changes and holding your boxes to ransom approach common to the scummy bottom feeders of the industry. You will be treated with respect and all your things will be delivered safe and sound.

After my temporary job in Houston ended, I needed to get back to LA to start a new long distance were able to pack up my meager belongings and fit them on a truck that had space and it took about a week to get my belongings. My experience with them was much better than that one I had in moving to Houston. I normally pack up and move everything myself, but this time, that wasn’t an option. After my experience with Texas Movers Group I may never move myself again. This was so much easier.

These movers were awful. Initial phone contact with company was a charm with all the great talk of what they can offer, Fooled me!!! I chose Texas movers group because they gave me the cheaper quote than the other’s. They arrived 2 hours late. Cost came to exactly (down to the penny) double of what was verbally estimated. The extras cost a fortune. They are disorganized, irresponsible, don’t return calls nor solve problems once you’ve paid.

Summary: Got fooled with how nice they were during booking. Never go for this moving company, had a very bad experience with my recent move.

I have moved house several times and only regret the use of one company, Texas Movers Group. They were atrocious. Never, never, never use this company.
I was immediately uncomfortable when they arrived, 30 minutes late, at the house in an unmarked truck and not wearing uniforms to show they were working for a specific company and not just random men taking my property away in a van. They didn’t greet me or identify themselves, they just stood on my driveway and said “Where’s the stuff?”
They spent the first hour of the move carrying one small box at a time to the truck moving at a pace that my 70 year old mother could easily double. They had trolleys on the truck but didn’t bother to use them until an hour and a half into the job.
They took 3 hours to get everything into the truck, too long considering that everything was organised for them when they arrived.
I called the moving company to express my dissatisfaction with the service so far on the drive to the new property. When the men arrived at the new property the first thing they mentioned was the fact that I had called the company and complained.
They got me to help move things off the truck and into the house. They scratched my hardwood floors when placing several items of furniture in the house and many of my items of furniture were scratched during the move in their truck.
They were grumpy, lazy and unprofessional. Never, never, never use this company.

This is the second move we’ve used with Texas movers group. I was provided a quote and was very thorough. We received a lower quote from another company but they explained our belongings could easily spill into two trucks. We opted for a second truck and it made the move go much quicker and provided us more flexibility since we were on a tight timeline. The great reviews I had read about Texas movers group were all true. I moved 1,300 miles away from Houston, and Roberto and his team were cheerful and efficient, on time for every task. The packing was well done. Boxes were always marked so that the team knew exactly were to carry everything when unloading. When there was a problem they helped get it solved and were quite nice about it. The guys who delivered the items weren’t as nice and refused to do their job. The sales guy and the guys who deal with the claims were very nice and understanding. Just make sure to have them pack it all so they are responsible for the issues and not you. Too bad the drivers aren’t as nice a the sales reps and customer service guys.

These guys will keep their word to the end of the term. I thought that they would increase their rates when they found that my house was big, but they stuck to the terms initially agreed on. Terrible experience. This is a scam. I was given a great quote and gave them my deposit. The day of my move, the movers showed up 4 hours later than they were scheduled. They took 5 hours to load everything (it was already boxed for them.) After loading my belongings, they told me I owed almost 3 times more than I had been quoted. I refused to sign, so they drove off with my stuff anyway. It took 3 angry voice mails before I got a call back, and was totally disrespected by customer service. They didn’t seem to care that I was mislead or treated so badly. The held my belongings hostage until I could pay them the new price, which of course had to be cash or wire transfer. They DO NOT have their own drivers. They guys who delivered my stuff said they are contracted out. Upon delivery I had multiple pieces of furniture broken or damaged, and a few pieces lost. I’m now trying to find out how to try to get some compensation for these damages, but they made sure not to put any of that on their website.

Had a last minute job offer in Miami that was too good to pass up. After researching 3 different companies Texas movers group had the most competitive prices and a great reputation. They were about an hour late showing up but took good care of my furniture and even packed a couple mirrors at the last minute. The delivery was a day earlier than anticipated which was a welcomed surprise for me. All in all, was a good experience.

I’ve used Texas movers group for three moves now in the past 8 or 9 years, one residential and the other two my office. All my moves were great. The first move was in the middle of a snow storm! I’ll comment specifically on this one – the estimate was exact, they accommodated me with a very last minute schedule change, they were on time, the crew was AWESOME and went above and beyond cutting my carpet pad, rethinking a piece of furniture that didn’t fit and then taking it apart and screwing in a table leg to make it fit in the blink of an eye all while being charming and smiling. I would, and have, recommended them without hesitation.

I recommend Texas movers group for big moves just as they were recommended to me. This company has a way of doing things that lets them complete big jobs quickly while somehow also not breaking or losing anything along the way. The best part is that they manage to do all this without breaking the bank. I cannot find anything to fault with their service, start to end. Their office manager was superb in his coordination of our move. Each of the three movers give it their all, huffing and puffing away to get it done quickly but also done right. Will use again.

Fully deserving of 5 stars. I have used many movers in my life and none of those companies can hold a candle to Texas movers group. I hired them to move my daughter from Texas to New York for college. Naturally, there wasn’t a lot of stuff that had to be transported but the service quality still shone through with how well the movers performed their work. The men were neatly attired and well spoken, which makes a huge difference when you handing over your personal possessions to strangers. My daughter informs me her things were delivered in good condition and on time.
